Watsonville Pedestrian Accident on Walker Street Resulted in Major Injuries
2 Students Struck and Seriously Injured by Vehicle on Walker Street in Watsonville
Watsonville, California (December 12, 2019) – Two pedestrians were struck and seriously hurt by a vehicle on Tuesday morning in Watsonville.
The major-injury crash happened along Walker Street near West Riverside Drive at around 7:30 a.m. December 10.
A van hit two male students in a crosswalk on Walker Street for reasons still under an active investigation. The two boys were walking to Ceiba College Preparatory Academy at the time of the collision.
The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of major injuries sustained in the wreck.
The identities of the patients remain unknown to this time.
Officials said the operator of the involved van remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.
The crash remains under an active investigation.
