Teen Injured in Fountain Valley Accident on Brookhurst Street and Slater Avenue
13-Year-Old Bicyclist Critically Injured in Fountain Valley Accident Monday Morning
Fountain Valley, California – A 13-year-old suffered major injuries while riding a bike after involving in a Fountain Valley accident at Brookhurst Street and Slater Avenue on Monday morning. The police are investigating more information.
The authorities stated that at around 11:20 am, the rider who was traveling eastbound on Slater Avenue, was hit by a 1996 Nissan Frontier that was traveling southbound on Brookhurst Street.
The teenager was rushed to the hospital with major injuries however he was reported to be in a stable condition.
Salvador Diaz Carrillo, 21, from Santa Aana, the driver of Nissan stayed at the accident site while cooperating with the investigators.
The police stated that there was no suspicion of alcohol or drugs in the accident.
The accident is still under investigation to find the cause.
