Saul Alvarez-Olivera Killed in Turlock Pickup Truck Accident Saturday Morning
Turlock, California – One man who was killed in the Turlock pickup truck accident that took place at Crows Landing Road and Linwood Avenue on Saturday morning, has been identified as Saul Alvarez-Olivera, 37 from Turlock by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office.
At around 10:54 am, the California Highway Patrol stated that a blue colored pickup truck met with an accident with a red pickup truck at the intersection.
Saul for traveling westbound in his 2006 maroon Toyota Tacoma on Linwood Avenue when he failed to stop the red signal at the intersection.
The Toyota collided with the blue pickup truck identified as a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado traveling north on Crows Landing Road.
Saul was declared dead at the accident scene.
Two other people sustained minor injuries and were taken to the Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. They were identified as Robert Paul Boykin, 53 of Gilroy, and his passenger Ronda Boykin, 51.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
