Man Arrested After Santa Ana Hit-and-Run Car Accident at Newhope Street and McFadden Avenue
Santa Ana, California (December 9, 2019) – The Santa Ana Police Department is investigating the cause of a traffic collision that sent two victims to the hospital on Sunday night in Santa Ana.
The collision was reported at about 11:00 p.m. on December 8, at the intersection of Newhope Street and McFadden Avenue.
The accident involved a pickup truck driven by a male party and an SUV.
The initial report indicated that the pickup slammed into the SUV for undisclosed reasons.
A female party and an 8-year-old girl riding in the SUV were transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries sustained in the crash.
The operator of the pickup got out of the vehicle after the collision and fled the scene but was later arrested by police near the crash scene.
