Ricardo Rodriguez Killed in Big Rig Crash on Interstate 215 in Riverside
Riverside, California – The man who was killed in the Riverside multi-vehicle accident that happened on Interstate 215 on Thursday afternoon has been identified as Ricardo Rodriguez, 49 of San Jacinto by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.
The California Highway Patrol has shared that the accident involved two tractor-trailers and a gold Ford Expedition in the HOV and fast lanes of northbound Interstate 215.
At around 12:35 pm, the accident was reported just north of Box Springs Road.
Rodriguez was driving the Ford who was killed in the accident.
The California Highway Patrol said that the one lane of the northbound side of the highway was opened for the traffic and all others were closed due to the accident.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
