Minor Injuries Reported in Antioch Car Accident on Highway 4 near Hillcrest Avenue
Antioch, California (December 11, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury crash that happened on Tuesday morning in Antioch.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at about 11:02 a.m. Tuesday, December 10, on westbound Highway 4, just west of Hillcrest Avenue.
Officials said three cars collided for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to render aid to the crash victims. The number of injured persons and their current condition was not immediately provided.
The vehicles were towed away from the scene.
Authorities closed lanes 1, 2 and 5 as a result of the collision. The roadway was opened as of 12:11 p.m.
An investigation is ongoing.
