Minor Injuries Reported in West Covina Accident on 10 Freeway near Azusa Avenue
West Covina, California (December 11, 2019) – A minor injury crash was reported on Tuesday night in West Covina, according to authorities.
The accident occurred on eastbound 10 Freeway, just east of Azusa Avenue at approximately 9:01 p.m. Tuesday, December 10.
The California Highway Patrol said four to five cars collided for reasons yet to be determined. It was reported that a white Honda involved in the collision was traveling at high speeds before the accident.
Firefighters along with medical personnel rendered aid to the crash victims. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately provided.
The cars were closing the lanes as a result of the collision. All lanes were re-opened as of 9:59 p.m.
Further details regarding this incident were not released.
An investigation is underway.
