Mason Ruiz 1-Year-Old Boy Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Crash Saturday Evening

Long Beach, California – A pedestrian accident occurred near Atlantic Avenue and Artesia Boulevard on Saturday evening killed a 1-year-old boy.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified the boy as Mason Hernandez Ruiz.

The Long Beach police stated that the deadly accident occurred when Mason was hit by a vehicle at around 8 pm on August 15.

Mason and his Dad were dropped off by a service car at the mobile home park near Jordan High School when the boy ran in front of the vehicle and was hit.

Mason was rushed to the hospital but he was declared dead after a short time.

The vehicle driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the investigators and the cops.

An investigation is been carried out by The Long Beach Police Department.
