Major Multi-Car Crash on 15 Freeway and Cleghorn Road in San Bernardino
At Least 1 Injured in San Bernardino Accident on 15 Freeway and Cleghorn Road
San Bernardino, California (December 12, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a major crash that left at least one person hurt on Wednesday afternoon in the area of San Bernardino.
The crash occurred at about 2:03 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, on 15 Freeway, just north of Cleghorn Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, six cars collided for reasons yet to be determined.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to render aid to at least one person who suffered severe chest injuries as a result of the collision. The victim was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
The name of the wounded parties and their current condition were not immediately provided.
The vehicles were towed away from the scene.
Authorities issued a SigAlert blocking lanes 1, 2 and 3. All lanes were cleared as of 4:35 p.m.
Further details concerning this collision were not released.
An investigation is ongoing.
