Jarrod Flynn Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 and Rodeo Avenue in Gerber
Jarrod Flynn Hospitalized after Gerber Vehicle Accident on Highway 99 and Rodeo Avenue
Gerber, California (December 11, 2019) – Jarrod Flynn, 36, of Red Bluff, has been identified one of the two injured in a fatal vehicle crash on Tuesday morning in Gerber, police said.
The collision took place at around 5:40 a.m. December 10, on Highway 99 and Rodeo Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Old Highway 99 when the Civic driver tried to pass another vehicle and collided head-on with a Ford driven by Jarrod Flynn. A Chevy pickup truck that was driving southbound struck the Ford while it was on the southbound.
Jarrod Flynn and his passenger, and the other two drivers were injured and were flown to the hospital for treatment.
The passenger in the Ford sadly succumbed to the injuries at the hospital.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
