George Cajias Killed in Alameda County Crash on Interstate Highway 580
Alameda County, California – Following an Alameda County accident that happened on Thursday evening involving multiple vehicles, George Cajias, 67, of Richmond was killed according to the CHP.
On October 8, shortly before 5:52 pm, the accident occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate Highway 580, just east of Eden Canyon Road.
It is unclear how the vehicles collided.
Following the accident, Cajias died according to the CHP.
As investigators examined and cleared the scene, two lanes of the freeway were blocked.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
