Driver Dies, 2 People Hurt in Grass Valley Wrong-Way Collision on Highway 20
One Killed, 2 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 20 in Grass Valley
Grass Valley, California – A Grass Valley wrong-way accident that took place on Highway 20, Saturday night killed a driver and left two other people injured.
CHP stated that a driver was traveling east on Highway westbound lane when the vehicle collided head-on with a second vehicle heading east.
On September 26, at around 11:20 pm, the accident took place near East Main Street and the wrong-way driver was killed in the crash.
Two people who were the occupants of the second vehicle were taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment of moderate to major injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be the factor responsible for the accident to take place.
No more information about the accident was available.
The accident is under investigation by the CHP.
