Daniel Turchie Killed in Marin County Accident on State Highway 1 in Point Reyes
Marin County, California – One man who was killed in a Marin County accident that happened on Tuesday evening has been identified as Daniel Cameron Turchie, 19, of Pinole by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office Coroners’ Division.
On September 22, at around 6 pm the accident happened on State Highway 1, just south of the Giacomini Ranch in Point Reyes, the CHP said.
Daniel was riding a motorcycle northbound on Highway 1 when he drifted across the oncoming lane crashing into a utility pole.
The emergency crews rushed to the accident scene and found Danel unconscious down the embankment. He was sadly declared dead at the scene.
Due to the accident, both directions of State Highway 1 were closed for officials to investigate the matter.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
