Bezawit Hailemichael Identified as Victim Killed in Palmdale Truck Accident on Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Palmdale Boulevard Off-Ramp
Palmdale, California (December 29, 2019) – The woman who was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Palmdale has been identified by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as Bezawit Hailemichael, 38, of Palmdale.
The fatal accident occurred at around 2:55 a.m. Friday, December 27 on the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near the Palmdale Boulevard exit.
Authorities said for an unknown reason, a vehicle slammed into a big rig on the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.
Hailemichael was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to the CHP, the big rig was loaded with approximately 31,000 pounds of unknown cargo.
The accident remains under investigation.
