Authorities Identify Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Van Buren Blvd and Studio Place in Jurupa Valley
Angel Garcia Jr Killed in Jurupa Valley Car Accident at Van Buren Boulevard and Studio Place
Jurupa Valley, California (January 10, 2020) – The man who died early Thursday morning in a traffic accident involving four vehicles in the area of Van Buren Boulevard and Studio Place in Jurupa Valley has been identified as Garcia Jr., 30 of Riverside.
The tragic wreck took place at the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and Studio Place at around 1:26 a.m. Thursday, January 9.
According to authorities, the crash involved a flatbed trailer and three passenger vehicles. Details of how the collision occurred were not immediately available.
One of the drivers, now identified as Garcia, was declared deceased at around 1:36 a.m.
The flatbed driver reportedly fled the scene after the accident and left behind the trailer that had become detached before the collision. The other two drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
It is still unclear whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the accident.
