1 Killed, 1 Arrested after La Verne Collision on Foothill (210) Freeway

One Person Killed in La Verne Hit-And-Run Crash Monday Evening

La Verne, California – A deadly La Verne hit-and-run accident has left one person dead and another in the custody on Monday night.

The report says that the driver of a white-colored BMW was driving erratically on eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway when the car collided with a tow truck near Fruit Street.

On September 14, at around 8:45 pm, the accident was reported and authorities stated that one person died at the scene.

The BMW driver was slowed down by the semi and then arrested following the accident.

However, the identities of the involved parties were not released immediately.

Due to the accident, the three lanes of the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway were closed.

The investigation to find the cause of the accident is ongoing.
