4 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Crenshaw Boulevard and 181st Street in Redondo Beach
Major Injuries in Redondo Beach Vehicle Accident at Crenshaw Boulevard and 181st Street
Redondo Beach, California (December 12, 2019) – Two Torrance men, aged 37 and 19, and two other people were injured after several vehicles collided on Wednesday morning in Redondo Beach, according to Torrance Police.
The crash was reported at around 7:40 a.m. December 11, at Crenshaw Boulevard and 181st Street.
Police said a silver 2007 Nissan Murano was heading north on Crenshaw approaching 181st Street when it rear-ended a 2014 Lexus. The Nissan veered into opposing traffic and collided with five more vehicles.
The two men from Torrance sustained major injuries while the other two people suffered minor injuries.
The North and eastbound lanes on Crenshaw were shut down for about four and a half hours.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
