Nao Moua and James Vang ID’d as Victims Injured in Fresno Head-On Crash at Millerton Road and Via Bellaggio
Fresno, California (March 13, 2020) – A head-on crash near Friant in Fresno killed four people early Friday morning and left two others with serious injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At about 2:00 a.m. on March 13, a 1995 Nissan pickup truck was heading northbound on Millerton Road when it veered into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a 1998 Camry.
The driver of the pickup truck and three female passengers in Toyota were killed in the accident. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The driver of the Camry was identified as James Vang, 60, of Fresno. Vang sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
Nao Y. Moua, 50, who was riding as a passenger in the Camry, was also taken to the hospital with major injuries.
All parties were wearing seatbelts when the accident occurred. Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
