Jacob Phillips-Short Dies in Victorville Car Accident on Palmdale Road and Cobalt Road
Victorville, California – A deadly vehicle accident that took place in Victorville on Saturday morning killed Jacob Michael Phillips-Short, 29, of Victorville, the local news sources said.
Jacob was driving a 2006 white Hyundai Tiburon north on Cobalt Road when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a 2001 black Ford Explorer heading west on Palmdale Road.
On October 3, just before 2:18 am the accident occurred.
The passenger of the Hyundai, Sarah Jane Jarrell-Worden, 23, of Victorville was declared dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Jacob had to be extricated from the wreck and was taken to the hospital where he was later declared dead.
However, Reggie Eugene Sanders, a 58-year-old transient man who was driving the Ford was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Sanders was expected to face the charges but the authorities stated that he was not at fault. He was expected to be released from custody.
