63-Year-Old Colarado Man Killed in Bonsall Bicycle Crash on State Route 76 near Thoroughbred Lane

Bonsall, California (December 12, 2019) – A fatal bicycle collision left a Colorado man dead on Wednesday morning in Bonsall, according to officials.

The deadly collision occurred a while before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, on State Route 76 near Thoroughbred Lane.

As per the CHP report, a 63-year-old Colorado man was riding a bicycle southbound on State Route 76 when a 19-year-old Riverside man in a 2005 Infiniti G35 rear-ended him.

The Colorado man suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the crash site.

The Infiniti driver remained at the scene and waited for officials.

An investigation is ongoing.
