50-Year-Old Hemet Man Killed in Arden-Arcade Pedestrian Crash on El Camino Avenue

Arden-Arcade Hit-And-Run Crash Kills Pedestrian Sunday Night

Sacramento, California – The investigation is being carried out by the California Highway Patrol to find the driver involved in the Arden Arcade hit and run accident that killed one pedestrian along eastbound El Camino Avenue on Sunday night.

The authorities reported that a middle-aged man in his 50s from Hemet was walking southbound through the eastbound lanes of El Camino Avenue, just west of Howe Avenue, when he was hit by a Dodge pickup truck.

Following the accident, the man was killed however his name was not released.

The pickup driver fled the scene after involving in the accident, as told by the authorities.

The vehicle is believed to be a silver 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 and it may have sustained damage to the front right passenger side.

The investigation is carried out by the CHP
