46-Year-Old Alejandro Rangel Struck and Killed by Vehicle at Las Palmas Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard, Monday
Coroner ID’d Alejandro Rangel as Man Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident at Las Palmas Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard
Sacramento, California (February 12, 2020) – According to a local news source, a pedestrian collision that happened in the area of Sacramento at about 6:00 p.m. on Monday resulted in the death of a Sacramento man.
The accident took place in the evening hours at the intersection of Las Palmas Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard, near the Richardson Village Park.
Police said 46-year-old Alejandro Rangel from Sacramento was struck by a vehicle at the intersection for reasons still under an active investigation.
Rangel sustained major injuries in the wreck. He died at the hospital, where he was admitted after the crash.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene after the mishap.
More details about the accident will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
