Person Killed in Norwalk Car Accident on Rosecrans Avenue near San Gabriel River Freeway
Norwalk, California (February 19, 2020) – One person was killed in a crash involving two vehicles on Tuesday night in Norwalk, according to police.
The crash occurred on Rosecrans Avenue near a ramp to the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.
The CHP said a witness saw a Cadillac Escalade ran a red light and slammed into a Honda Accord moments after 8:40 p.m., on February 18. An occupant in the Honda was ejected due to the impact.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nobody was transported to the hospital by the responding emergency crews.
The roadway was closed by the police for closed for an unspecified duration as a result of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
