One Seriously Injured in Ventura Multi-Vehicle Crash on Telephone Road and Highway 101
Ventura, California – The Ventura multi-vehicle accident that happened on the Telephone Road exit ramp from northbound Highway 101, injured one person.
The authorities stated that there were five vehicles that were involved in the accident that occurred at around 3:20 pm.
The preliminary investigation has found that one vehicle collided with the trailer of a work truck.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded to the accident and helped in extricating one person from the wreckage.
Further, the person was taken to the hospital as major injuries were sustained. However, more details on the injuries sustained in the accident were not revealed.
After the accident, two lanes of the exit ramp were closed as crew members worked to clear the wreckage.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
