Palm Desert Multi-Vehicle Accident at Palm Drive and 20th Avenue Resulted in Unspecified Injuries
Palm Desert, California (January 12, 2012) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in an alleged hit-and-run multi-vehicle collision that took place on Sunday morning in Palm Desert, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The three-vehicle crash was reported at about 11:20 a.m. in the area of Palm Drive and 20th Avenue.
The circumstances that lead to the collision of the three vehicles were not immediately disclosed.
The initial report indicated that a dark-colored sedan drove away after the crash.
Officials said one person sustained unspecified injuries in the wreck.
The victim was hospitalized at Desert Regional Medical Center for medication.
