1 Critical after Highway 395 Accident in Victorville
Two Injured in Victorville 3-Vehicle Accident on Highway 395
Victorville, California – A Victorville three-vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 395 on Thursday morning, two people sustained injuries according to the authorities.
At the intersection of Dos Palmas Road, a tractor-trailer allegedly failed to stop at the red light while traveling southbound on the highway.
Later a big rig collided with a Nissan truck and a van traveling eastbound on Dos Palmas Road and thus the accident occurred.
Following the accident, the big rig rolled onto its side.
More than 500 cases of Gatorade were spilled onto the highway by the big rig.
At around 8:38 am, the emergency services rushed to the accident site and attended the victims who were critically injured. The female victim who was driving the Nissan was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton.
However, the big rig driver sustained minor injures and was taken to a local hospital by the ambulance.
No more information about the injury was reported.
Due to the accident, Highway 395 was closed in both directions as crews worked to clear the wreck.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
